Has anyone here used Gnome 3 with openSUSE? I used to hate Gnome (and I really like KDE) but I have to say I’m really intrigued by the new Gnome3 interface. It is very similar to Unity with some real cool ideas for workspaces (that I think finally makes them useful) and “just type” search capabilities.
I’m curious though as Gnome 3 apparantly requires hardware acceleration and I wanted to know how that played out for people.
I’m really excited by some of the new things being done in Linux desktops to improve usability and efficiency.
