Hi,
for some reason the fonts in Gnome 3 look horrible.
I installed the hinting repo and still after this, its not much better. There was also the Gnome Teak Tool which lets you adjust some aspects like hinting for fonts. But in the end my fonts look like shadowed.
Is there something i do wrong, or is this just not right in Gnome 3.
Btw. if i try different settings within the tweak tool, it doesn’t change anything. Weird isn’t it.
This is the x64 version of Gnome on OpenSUSE 11.4.
Oh, i switched to the standart Sans font, but did not make any difference either. So i got the impression maybe the hinting is not working.
