gnome 3.14 touchscreen sensitivity

Is there a way to adjust either switching touch screen sensitivity or a delay parameter switching between touch pad and touch screen?

I’m running 13.2RC1-Gnome on a Dell XPS 12. Everything is working smoothly, except for the touchscreen: either shows the mouse pointer and becomes non-responsive, or works correctly (doesn’t show the mouse pointer and touches/gestures work). The problem really presents itself when I bring up the gnome onscreen keyboard, sometimes typing on it the Gok will disappear and the mouse pointer shows up again, like I clicked on the desktop. Looks like a timing/switching issue between pointer/touchpad mode and touchscreen mode.
