Haven’t seen that occur here, what applications are causing this.

By design, it may come back one day. Some folks have reported
xscreensaver works?

Press Left win/meta key ==.> Activities ==> Type tweak ==> In Tweak Tool
navigate to Power on Left pane ==> Configure stuff
