gmail desktop notifier request

Hey all,

Wondering if anyone knows a good working gmail desktop notifier. Something that will alert me when a new email arrives, and can connect me directly to my email account.

Seems that gmail doesn’t have one for linux.

There is one look for KCheckGmail (if you have kde) in yast or get the firefox addon
