I’ve noticed that in RC1 the GMA600 kernel module hasn’t been built (as was, as a matter of fact, in openSUSE 12.1). Is there any reason for that? Since as it is right now, my Oak Trail device doesn’t launch properly, even with VESA drivers, and kicks me back to TTY1. (That said, I can get VESA working by passing a vga=ask parameter, but having an actual working video driver that can display native resolution would be nice to have.) And I also noticed that in /var/log/Xorg.0.log, it attempts to load “psb” and some other psb* driver (and fails by not finding them). Those should be removed, as they’re completely superseded by gma500_gfx driver inside the kernel. So it would be nice if the module was actually built, unless not building it was a conscious decision of some kind?
