GIMP 2.6 for OpenSUSE?

Does anyone know where I can get GIMP 2.6 for openSuse? When I go through YAST, it lists only GIMP 2.4.5.

If it’s not in the repo’s you’ll have to compile it yourself ( i compile most of my own stuff :slight_smile: )

Thanks. Can you give me an overview (not on how to compile it) on how to compile/install it OVER the 2.4.5 version?
