Getting update lists failed

I get this error message every time I reboot or login.

I can do an Online Update manually with no problem (I have noticed that the system does not do this automatically anymore)

I am not signed on as root if that makes a difference.

Didn’t make a difference for me. I’ve got the very same problem (see Getting update lists failed - openSUSE Forums).

Did you ever figure out what was wrong?
