Hey, I’m just set up my first Linux machine running openSUSE 11.4 and I’m not sure where to get the drivers for a Linksys WUSB54GC USB wifi card. I’ve read about using ndiswrapper to use the Windows driver, is this the best route? Thanks so much for any help.

It is most definitely NOT the best route. You are likely missing the firmware.
Check the output of
dmesg | grep firmware
If the above indicates missing firmware, you can install it with
sudo zypper install kernel-firmware
