Hi, Gedit-2.28.3 text editor is not working adequately on Osuse 11.2: after selecting ‘Search’–> ‘Find/Replace’ it is not feasible to write properly in the corresponding box (greyed/unabled). May you suggest me a solution for this trouble? Thanks.

since openSUSE 11.2 has its end of life last May (cite:

however, http://tinyurl.com/4aflkpy says that Evergreen support for
openSUSE 11.2 is currently being ramped up…so, perhaps there is some
help there…
or, you could use a different text editor, there are hundreds
available…KWrite for example, or Kate, or Emacs, or or or
