gdm appears in boot.msg without GNOME being installed ever

Hello

In /var/log/boot/msg I found the following line:
Unknown username “gdm” in message bus configuration file

However, I haven’t ever installed GNOME. Please suggest how I can fix it.

it’s purely cosmetic, AFAIK. What version of Opensuse? I recall it being a bug in 10.3, noit sure about 11, and it doesn’t show up in 11.1.

Just ignore it in this case. If it really nags you, check bugzilla.novell.com, maybe there is a workaround or solution.
