As a newbie I am stymied when installing Open Suse 11.
Using Yast2 I go to Network Settings. Listed are:
“Gammagraphx Ethernet Controller (Not configured)
Unable to configure the network card because the kernal device (eth0, wlan0) is not present. This caused by missing firmware (for wlan devices). See dmesg for details.”
“Ethernet Network Card DHCP
(No hwinfo).”
I don’t know how to access the dmesg.
More important is where and how do I find and install the missing firmware?
Any and all help will be really appreciated.
