The state of gaming on Linux is well understood. That said, it is still possible to play games, without spending too much time getting the various issues resolved. So, please create a sub forum just for game related discussions.

I think the gaming forum should be visible from the main forum index. At the moment, the gaming forum is hidden within the applications forum
Come on guys, gaming is big enough to warrant a place on the main index.

games is no “bigger” to the entire SUSE community than is multimedia,
wireless, SUSE Security Announcements, or openSUSE Build
Service–which are similarly ‘hidden’ under major (larger) headings…

?? It is. If you look at the forum index at http://forums.opensuse.org you
will see the Applications forum. In the description of that forum you will
see links to two sub forums, one of which is the games forum.
