NVIDIA drivers can’t be compiled against the latest kernel as also discussed here https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/523628-Declining-performance-with-optimus.
I had installed bumblebee nvidia following the guide https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_Bumblebee. Then I found that nvidia was not actually compiled successfully.
So I’d like to switch for nouveau for now.
I am uninstalling the bumblebee-nvidia package. After reboot am I automatically using nouveau or there are more steps?
Do I still need primusrun to run programs using the nvidia card?
