I’m looking for a Thinkpad-esque keyboard with a pointer stick but full size that includes a numpad.
Is anyone selling such a keyboard?
Logitech has one with a trackpad but no stick and no numpad.
As I find my workflows moving to keyboard only, I find having to take my hand off the keyboard an unnecessary distraction. I’m aware of projects like mouseless which attempt to do this with a normal keyboard but I’d like a keyboard with a stick please!
Don’t think I ever saw one. Only on laptops…
@pavinjoseph Lenovo have external keyboards with pointers, but not full sized, might have to just get an external numpad…
Thanks everyone! I decided to give the trackball mouse a try since I didn’t want to settle for a smaller road warrior type keyboard from Lenovo.
The full size keyboard with numpad and trackball to the right feels less distracting.
The numpad feels like an extension to the normal typing/resting position and the trackball an extension to that.
Feels good not having to move the mouse around, please excuse the dust.
