Hi!
I download iso image and install on ftp server (IIS) and try install SUSE on my other PC.
But after all is started I get message “… SHA1 sum wrong”
When I check md5 sum is ok.
PS.
When I download iso he is broken and I use rsync to repair iso-file and then md5 is ok.
What I do wrong?
Thank you!
Alex
message is
“ftp://192.168.0.1/suse11.1x64/boot/x86_64/branding: SHA1 sum is wrong
If you realy trust your repositary, you may continue in an insecure mode”
But when add “insecure=1” and ca’t install SUSE in anyway
Possible solution: Switch to another repository.
It´s the easiest way. Don´t hurt yourself.

Yes, but I don’t have such repo
I download iso from internet and create this repo for my LAN
Uh… did you use the original OpenSuse repository?
(download from website)
Greetz, P.
when I download first time - www.mirrorservice.org
when I repair iso - mirrors.kernel.org
Please try this one: Download - openSUSE

I can’t download 4.4 Gb now from inet. But maybe I can run rsync to check iso from opensuse.org?
Do what you want. ^^
I can tell you: If you want to avoid any further problems - download a clean installation.
Have a good day.
Thanks anyway
Always welcome. Maybe you could help me get my virtual machine running in return. ^^

I got it!
First My …NET-iso file whas broken not main iso file.
But after I get new net iso file - installation failed again.
And second problem was - IIS. I move my DVD-sio file to linux server (vsftp) and mount iso there.
After I try install suse from this repo and all is ok.
PS.
Microsoft is goooooood company >:)
Microsoft = good? This question isn´t resolved yet…
Um… I could need some help, too, buddy.
-P.-
I think this questions would never resolved lol!
What kind of help?
I´m trying to install Windows on XEN.
I did not change anything on the standart configuration of Xen - when trying to build my virtual device, I always get the same error…
Please refer to this post to see exactly what I mean: Xen Virtualization brakes up [OpenSuse 11.1]. WTF? - openSUSE Forums
Thanks for staying with me, buddy. ^^
Sorry, but I don’t work with XEN, I prefer VBox
Mh… I wonder which virtual machine is the best choice.
There way too many out there.
