Frostwire - How to install SuSE 12.3

Is there a way to install Frostwire in 12.3? I’ve got it installed in 12.2, but can’t find anything, including .gz file, that will complete the install. Am I missing something or is it just not available for 12.3?
Thanks for any help.

I don’t use this, so can’t offer any advice with installation other than to ask if you have you tried the instructions mentioned here?

Thanks for the reply, and yes I’ve tried the instructions in that post as well as several others, all with no success.

Maybe if you posted the install output, someone might be able to advise further…

I’ve just read others reporting installation issues with the RPM files (seemingly to do with java-related issues). Better to down load the tarball, and simply unpack it.

FrostWire - Browse Files at SourceForge.net

In an effort to assist, I did exactly this, then navigate to the directory where it is installed (in my case ~/Downloads/frostwire-5.6.4.noarch/). Then execute

sh /home/dean/Downloads/frostwire-5.6.4.noarch/frostwire

or even just click on the ‘frostwire’ executable script file. It launched fine for me with no issues.

I hope this helps.
