I have tumbleweed/KDE/plasma/wayland. From 7.2.5 to 7.2.7 I try to update, but the apps do not open. I always come back to 7.1.8. Is there a solution?

This is also in your title. But nowhere about to which package(s) these version numbers belong. Nor what you did to “try to update”.
You should really explain more to help people understanding you as long as they can not look over your shoulder.
I always use “sudo zypper dup”. Now there are (
1461 packages to upgrade, 92 new, 80 to remove.) I tried AI, sometimes says it’s mesa packages, other it’s the screen refresh rate.

In any case, you are new here, so I allow myself to explain you how to communicate better with the people here that will try to help you.
When you want to show something frm a terminal session (like your zyper dup), the please copy/paste all that belongs to it, starting with the line with the prompt and the command, then all output and at the end the new prompt line.
Then copy that into your post as Preformatted text, using the </> button from the post text editor.
Only so can we see what you did and what you got in the same way as you see it.

When you refer to 7.2.7 etc are you meaning the kernel-default package?
If so, maybe your EFI partition is too small and you may have to delete older kernels before a successful update, but without an understanding of what he exact error you see is, it is impossible to help.
Ok. zypper dup runs through without conflict but afterwards no app is starting?
What is the the terminal output when you start one of the non working apps from a terminal?

OK, so you are not upgrading from 7.2.5 as implied by the thread title, but from 7.1.8.

You can safely uninstall kernel-default-7.1.6-1.1, easier with Myrlyn, search for kernel-default, go to the “Versions” tab and mark 7.1.6 for uninstall, then “accept”.
