fresh install of 12.1, login is not working

I did a fresh install of openSUSE 12.2 (x86_64), and when i finally got at then end of the install screens…

I was not able to login. (not as ‘user’, and not as ‘root’)

When switching to a console (CTRL+ALT+F2), i was able to login.

What are the simple steps to follow, and resolv this problem?

It seemed that some packages where not installed correctly,
After running software updates, it seems to work…
