Frequent Bugs and Freezes in Tumbleweed: Anyone Else Facing This?

Hey Tumbleweed community! Recently, I’ve been encountering quite a few bugs and system freezes while using Tumbleweed. Are any of you experiencing similar issues with the latest updates? Would love to know if it’s just me or a more widespread problem

That’s a very broad statement, which can include pretty much ANY issue(s). (too broad for any meaningful discussion).

Maybe focus on the one problem that occurs consistently and is the most disruptive. Sometimes, one particular issue has side effects causing other issues(s).

Yeah exactly, that’s because the the issue is broad, I’ve been struggling with the distro since last week, there are too many broke dependencies, and I’m fixing theme all, but each time I get new bug that I have to fix (from screen flickering and glitching on 144 hz or freezing suddenly when I’m doing simole tasks like typing or sometimes not booting at all).

I was thinking maybe it’s hardware related, but I checked it all and my system was working seamlessly with other distros (Arch and mint).

I guess the problem is with the gpu, I have used different versions of my Nvidia graphics (tested 535 / 545 and 550) each had their specific problem, I even deleted my Nvidia drivers but yet facing new issues.

I’m thinking about switching to other kernels, so maybe it’ll fix it, any other ideas!

Thx for helping :raised_hands:

You have an Intel/NVIDIA hybrid graphics system, so that might need some attention. Let’s see what others advise regarding this.
