Has anyone gotten it to work?
FreeSpace Open Installer - FreeSpace Wiki
I just get the main screen and the length of the screen is greater than 1280x1024 so I dont know if it has a “NEXT” button or if the installer just doesnt work.

Depending on which DE you’re using, you might hold the ALT key down, left
click the window and drag it up. In GNOME (and maybe KDE, I don’t know)
that will let you move the window.

Man, that screen was freakin long… probably *x4000 or so…but that did the trick.
