Thanks for posting this. It also works in openSUSE 11.4. I’ve
been looking for a way to extract parts of a pdf document and
then use it in a newsletter I create (odt) and then save as
new PDF. Not sure how it would work for large document, but
great for my 1 anad 2 page documents.

You can also edit PDF files with LibreOffice Draw (thanks to the PDF Import extension)

pdf import in libre office still is not very userfriendly…and does not allow proper editing for most of my pdf notes…

It works well with large documents too…I tried with a 135 page document the other day and it worked just fine.
