I need to be able to use a frame grabber converting composite-1 video (analog) to a USB stream. i can make the camera work fine by using a tvtuner and xawtv with composite-1 setting and nodga gives me slightly better results in terms of scanline. I use lsusb to see how my framegrabber is being detected and it shows me crescent corp on one of my usb ports with the appropriate vendor and device ID. manufacturer is a taiwan firm called grandtech… the way i see it is i need the primitive drivers to generate the /dev/video1 file discriptor… any kernel modules come to mind…? ar any help at all will be appreciated…
P.S. tried the manufacturer already… they dont make linux drivers for their hardware… the morons
