I had troubles connecting to this forum since the morning and finally I got thru I don’t know how.
When I tried to follow this link from my bookmarks (https://forums.opensuse.org/) I got a popup asking me to download the forum.php file (??)
Some other sites with DirectoryIndex pointing to .php files were displaying the pages…
What happened ??

Maybe you should move to that thread. I’ll note that the other thread is in the wrong forum, and yours in the correct forum for this kind of discussion. But the other thread is where you will currently see more information.
