forum traffic

veterans - Im curious, forum traffic seems down on say 6 months ago, is there a seasonal variation? i.e. do people spend more time breaking and ‘fixing’ their systems in winter? or could heavy traffic coincide with the few months after leap point releases?

I think you guessed it first time you try.

Wait for next week’s 42.3 release.

Yes. That’s my experience. After a new release, traffic increase and then slowly tails off.

The official release of 42.3 is this week. Expect forum traffic to grow.

Yep, it tends to ebb and flow with release schedules more than anything.

Brace yourselves…

Winter is coming?

:quiet:

:stuck_out_tongue:

Right now, it is midwinter in New Zealand (where deano_ferrari lives)

I know your comment was a joke. I’m just putting it in perspective.

Yes, I’m looking forward to Spring!

Winter can’t come fast enough (currently 36 degC an hour after sunset and with the humidity it is rated as feeling like 43 degC (and this is a cooler day)) >:(

That’s much warmer than where I am - currently it’s just under 22C here.

I’m so glad to be in a place where it doesn’t get up over about 85F
during the summer. Spent plenty of time in places where > 100F was
normal.

thanks for your reply’s (even the weather reports), guess i forgot the earth is round in my initial theory of ‘weather dependent hacking’.

Perhaps the data should be made available in detail, there are a lot of data nerds out there, im sure some of the patterns found would be interesting.
