“Forum Tools”
“Post a New Thread”
“Mark this forum read”
indiscernible foreign language
“View Parent Forum”
The hover links to Add Subscription but the text on the Menu item is Non-English.

Been that way for a few.
Are my meds wearing off?

maybe!
but, i can’t duplicate your problem because i see no “Forum Tools”…
i do see a path on the opening page of the forum
<http://forums.opensuse.org/> to “Forum Actions” but it includes none of
the others you mention…
so, i’m at a loss…can you take a screen shot and put it somewhere like
http://www.imagebam.com and post the URL here…
be sure the screen shot also shows the browsers URL window (the url you
posted earlier returns “Invalid Forum specified. If you followed a valid
link, please notify the administrator”)
and, by the way (for next time) there is a forum where questions about
the forum are fielded, here:

After looking at your screen capture, I still don’t know what you are referring to.
Can’t you see the Chines option between the English options under “Forum Tools”?
When viewing a forum, not a thread or the forum home, there’s a pull-down menu “Forum Tools”.
When clicking on it you’ll see four options, including a Chinese option.
I see it now. The image was wider than my browser, and I hadn’t scrolled to where I could see that.
I don’t know what it means. I’m not sure if it is Chinese, either. But it certainly is not English.
Okay, I tried clicking on it. I got the screen for subscribing to the particular forum. So I guess it should read “subscribe to this forum”.

me too, but the non-english characters are only visible if one is logged
in…
to make sure this gets the attention it should (by the forum fixer) the
original poster should ask a pm to move the thread to the correct place,
or . . .

sorry, i mis-wrote! i should have written PM (private mail) a moderator
and ask them to move it…
hmmmm…to do that, you need to find the list of mods (at the bottom of
the opening page (forums.opensuse.org) i think…yes, “view Site
Leaders” pick one that shows online, and … oh no, everything has
changed again…i can’t direct: fine how to get to the PM section and
use the exact ID you picked to contact…
actually, pick “hendersj” 'cause he is the guy that normally runs the
broken messages to the fixer…

This forum is getting more and more buggy.
Duplicated, will pass it along to Kim.
Also, I’m going to move this thread to the correct forum - NNTP users, please take note.
Thread has now been moved.
