Forum software not listing nntp posts when i click on " Find latest posts" in my profile page
For example go to my profile (https://forums.opensuse.org/members/vazhavandan.html) and click on link “Find latest posts Find latest posts” on the left
It doesn’t list any posts made through nntp interface
For example :the posts made in linked thread made using nntp is not getting listed in the search results.
Only posts made through web interface are getting displayed.
Anyone seeing similar issue ?
Yes.
And it’s been that way at least for a few months.

AFAIK it is a known issue.

iirc i reported something similar two or three years ago…(but can’t

don’t forget nntp is almost too much bother to keep…

I am now having seconds about whether I should continue to use nntp in
openSUSE forums 
GNOME 3.6.2
openSUSE Release 12.3 (Dartmouth) 64-bit
Kernel Linux 3.7.10-1.16-desktop

you can choose to use either http or nntp…no problem.

Why? I can find my own posts easily, because Thunderbird stores a copy
of each one in my computer; and as they are searchable, I can quickly
locate any one.
I don’t really miss the web side search.
