For11.4 VMware Player users if you get an error about unable to vmon or something like it

I’ve been using Vmware Player for a little while & since starting 11.4 I get a error saying something about unable to build the vmon module. If you’ve been getting it too here’s a possible fix:

  1. If you haven’t already go to VMware & dl’d VMware Player 3.1.4.385536 for your version either 32 bit or 64bit
  2. Open a terminal as root do this:
#vmware-modconfig --console --install-all

If all has gone well you’ll have VMware Player running & no you shouldn’t need to do anything else. Have a lot of fun!
