The ebooks opened on foliate does not show up once closed, cannot add ebooks to library evrytime we launch the app the library is clean finally I moved to calibre which is working fine, but foliate works very well on slowroll.
I get the idea that this might all be on a Desktop Environment. When that is true, you forgot to mention what you use.
its KDE. some libraries missing I guess.
I’m not familiar with this software, but how was Foliate installed (RPM from the openSUSE repositories or Flatpak)? More information is needed in order for others to help you.
Try launching from a terminal, and see if any useful messages reported there.
Also does Foliate create anything under ~/.local/share/ or ~/.var/app/ after you add a book?
