Your request should have been in the wireless forum, but I will try to help you
here.
The handling of the fn+f2 key should be handled by the module dell-wmi. Is it
loaded? The command ‘lsmod | grep dell’ will provide that info.
If the module is not loaded, does the command ‘sudo /sbin/modprobe -v dell-wmi’
help? If so, you need to add it to the MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT list at YaST =>
System => /etc/sysconfig Editor. Open System and Kernel.
If the key does not work with the module loaded, then you need to file a bug
report at bugzilla.novell.org; however, as your machine is not new, the module
should work.
