Fn Key Always Active on Compaq V3906TU (V3000 Series) with OpenSUSE 11.3 64-bit

Hi, I’m having a problem on my fresh OpenSUSE 11.3 x64 instalation. Fn key on keyboard always active, this is happening right on first boot after installation complete.

Although when entering various info at installer, it working fine (Fn key not always active).

The only thing I changed when first logged in into desktop (KDE 4), is change mouse behaviour (to double click to open something). This laptop’s keyboard working fine in OpenSUSE 11.2 32-bit. Please help me troubleshoot this problem.

Hmm… I’m replying to myself. Anyway, I decide to reformat and reinstall openSUSE, but this time I use Gnome DE. And it turn out didn’t have keyboard problem like before.

I’m not saying KDE 4 is at fault, maybe I’m just unlucky, maybe some configuration changed somewhere, because I checked yast system keyboard and it shows US. Reapplying this option doesn’t help either.

My PC is still openSUSE 11.3 x64 with KDE 4 though.
