I have taken from my old computer the floppy disk drive out and build into the computer where I run Suse Linux and Windovs XP.When I run Windows in CMD node (DOS) the drive works perfectly well. When I try to run it in Linux or in Windows XP, I can not acces it. The BIOS detects the floppy automatically, so I can adjust nothing there. When I run YAST ,hardware detection, it detects the floppy .Has anyone an Idea?
