if I comment this line:

import rtree

print(("rtree", rtree.__version__))

in the diagnose.py file I get:

('Platform', 'Linux', '5.0.8-1-default')
('Distro', ('', '', ''))
('Python', '2.7.16')
('shapely', '1.6.4.post2')
('GEOS library', (3, 7, 1))
('Qt', '4.8.7')
('Numpy', '1.16.2')
('MatPlotLib', '2.2.3')
('MPL Numpy', '1.7.1')

I installed rtree like this:

pip install rtree --user

but still get that error. Also if I use this line in the flatcam file:

from PyQt4 import QtCore

im getting error saying “cant find the module”.

If I use instead:

import PyQt4

no problem. why?

That’s probably something to ask upstream… and also porting to python3 and moving to Qt5…
