I have some problems with Flash and browser (tried Firefox and Chrome this far). If I try to look videos f.eg. from Youtube my Pulseaudio suddenly takes 80-100% of my CPU regarding to “top” and downs fps of the video to 1-2fps. Is there any workaround to make Pulseaudio work better with Flash? Also problem is that when I press full screen button on flash video, it will stay in the same size but it will be surrounded by black full screen borders. I have tried with Compiz workaround with unredirect fullscreen windows off and legacy fullscreen support on but it doesn’t work for me. My configuration is:
SW:
Opensuse 11.2 (64bit) with Gnome 2.228.2-0.1.1 (x86_64)
Alsa 1.0.23-2.8
Pulseaudio 0.9.21-59.1
Compiz 0.7.8-43.44.1 running over it
Flash-player 10.0.45.2-0.1.1
Firefox 3.6.4-1.1.7 / Chrome 5.0.375.55-47796
HW:
Intel Core2 Duo E6550
NVIDIA Geforce 8800 GTS 512MB
Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 Model SB0100
Dual monitor setup
Flash is notorously bad for hogging cpu on linux especialy on 64-bit linux , if you are brave you could try installing the experimental 64-bit version of flash Adobe Labs - Flash Player 10 for 64-bit Linux but even that seems to take up a bit of cpu but I have noticed it doesn’t use as much as the nswrapper with 32bit flash.
I use Flashplayer 64bit since the first alphas. Much better than 32bit ever was. No trouble at all with youtube or whatever. Neither in FF, nor in Chrome, nor in Opera.

I’ve also been using it for awhile , alpha on. Works fine in 11.2
and 11.3 MS7.
