Hi, Im back. Im using KDE now. My laptop: core 2 duo t6500, 4gb ram, ati radeon hd4350.
the link is (URL: Removed by caf4926). Its like freezing. maybe I installed wrong graphic driver. Im not sure.
– Now, I m trying youtube videos with full screen. Its freezing when I open with full screen.
Hi, I’m also relatively new to linux, but I want to say one thing, linux is not “hard” to use, because of some greedy vendors do not want to share some information regarding to their hardware for free. If all the vendors all around the world were cooperation with free software community, then believe me, everything would be much more easy for you and even more, maybe you and me were newbies for Microsoft products rather then for linux world.
Now as for flash movies problem. I’m not sure in your case, but some web-sites uses their proprietary special plugin (which usually works only with windows) for playing flash video on their site. I mean, in some sites, when you want to use either video or audio streaming, you should install the special AtiveX controls on your web browser for being able to watch and listen them. As it’s very strange, if on youtube you can view videos, then I thinks flash player is intalled correctly.
I don’t know, maybe other more experienced linux users will had a better idea.
Hi, Vojd. I can understand them. Thanks for everything to Linux team.
I can understand some application using windows programs like activex or divx web plus player. But my problem is not about them. I think problem " flash player or cpu or ati". But Im not sure and I don’t know what can I do. I realy want to use open suse. But sometimes I like to play a game at facebook.
Your system is fine
That web site is NOT.
It’s not often you find stuff like that, but seriously, it’s not worth going there if they can’t put together their pages properly, or perhaps their intentions are far less honourable than that.
I don’t know how it behave in Windows, but I wouldn’t trust it…ever!
Some graphics cards and drivers will not cope with HD flash very well, this may be your issue in Youtube, I’m not sure
Thanks but I dont understand why normal size its working when I open it with full screen. Its freezing. I think the problem is about adope shock wave. Is there any plugin for opensuse?

my advice: Microsoft makes an ok game machine as long as you don’t mind
all the junk/work it takes to keep the viruses out…and, an ok way to
LOCK you into DRM and their own software…
so, dual boot and play facebook games when you must…but, keep the
important stuff (like credit card, bank password and etc only on the
Linux side…on a linux partition which M$ can’t read…
tell me what doesn’t work for you at facebook, maybe it will work for me
and then we know you just need to do some tuning…

Well, I’m working in a computer service center and we had a few cases regarding to flash videos. On one model (which I can not to tell, as we are partners of that brand) had a problem with playing flash movies, when the customer started to watch videos on youtube, in a minute or two, the windows gave the well known blue screen and after long days of diagnostics and tests, we found that the problem was with the CPU. So, this could be the problem, but if in your case, you can play the same things on same notebook in the Windows, then this will not be the hardware problem.
I’ve checked now (as I don’t like playing games on facebook, it’s very dangerous, there are a lot of malwares and besides that, most of the games requires from you to turn the https (secure connection) off, but I checked and found that some of the games are opening and some no. I also use OpenSUSE 11.4 and Firefox 4.0.1, so maybe you can post the link, which game you would like to play and we’ll see it’s problem with your software configuration or with sites themselves.
