flash-player not recognised

JFI

tried yesterday,
> flash-player-11.2.202.468-1.1.i586
> flash-player-kde4-11.2.202.468-1.1.x86_64

firefox Version: 38.0.6-1.3 did not recognised they were installed
and requested flash installation

no problems with either of the following installed
> flash-plugin-11.2.202.468-release.x86_64
> flash-plugin-11.2.202.481-release.x86_64

One is 32 bit and another is 64 bit.

no problems with either of the following installed
> flash-plugin-11.2.202.468-release.x86_64

So was it a question, an information for others or something else?

You need to install the 64bit (x86_64) flash-player package, then it should be recognized and used by your 64bit Firefox.

Btw, didn’t you ask exactly the same question already some time ago? :wink:
