Flash objects show graphical glitches, happens on youtube videos as well

Hi, installed opensuse 11.4 64 bit KDE yesterday over my 11.3 opensuse, and everything seems to be working great (all my settings were saved as well, to my amazement  I guess it’s because i had separate partitions for ‘/’ and ‘/home’ ).

Today I tried to watch some videos on youtube, and I noticed lots of glitches on the videos, small blocks of the video continually disappear, showing the background instead. Or sometimes the video won’t show at all, but a refresh of the page will cause it to appear again (with the glitches).

I see the same on all the flash sites, blocks of the flash object disappear randomly, in an annoying ‘blinking’ way.

Oddly, when surfing with konqueror, flash works perfectly (and faster!)

Except for this flash problem, 11.4 is an AMAZING release. I’m recommending it to all my friends!

Anyone have a clue to what might be causing the problem?

My system - HP Pavilion laptop, dv7, 4gb mem, intel core 2 duo, nvidia geforce 9600M.
Oh, I installed the nvidia drivers. The flash problem might have started occuring after the driver installation, not sure though.

Thanks!

This might be related to the flash video issues posted in several thread in the multimedia forum.
Please have a look thru those flash video issues, sorry can’t help much but if you see those flash video issues I mentioned then, you will have the picture of what I am hinting.
Good luck.

I forgot to mention that the problems are occurring in Firefox 4 beta 12
