I have made several SuSEStudio raw disk images and CD:s with a JeOS (SLES11SP1).
The first character typed in after boot in all of the installations is almost always not displayed.
What usually happens is that the login screen is displayed and when you type your user name the first character is always missing and you have to start over. I am pretty certain the problem is not in the login manager (XDM) because when booting from CD and the EULA comes up, it doesn’t take the first character I type either.
I wouldn’t normally consider this a problem if it was a regular server installation, but I am pretty sure the users of this particular system will find it very annoying.
I was wondering if anyone else has has this problem and if there is anything I can do to fix it?

Is this problem is a bug of suse11sp1? How to solve this problem?
Hi
You’ve posted on a > 2 year old thread… SP1 isn’t in general support
anymore, you might want to try on the actual SUSE Studio forum or on
their IRC channel. Can you not use SP2 for your image?
