Firmware to read SDHC for open SuSe11.3

I’m struggling to read a more than 4Gb SDHC card on a 64-bit Asus motherboard.

The box dual-boots into WinXP and 11.3.

The Microsoft hotfix to allow reading an SDHC card only works with 32bit machines.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to update repositories etc?

Linux will read the drive no matter what the size is.
Are you sure your card reader can handle the card?

imho it’s issue with card reader. go to your reader’s manufacturer website and check if it supports SDHC cards.
