Watching for example you tube vids.
Every freaking time a new vid opens the volume increases. Why ?
Can I fix this ?
Or can people maybe suggest a better browser?
I have tried to report this to mozilla but they don’t seem to care.

I’d suspect something else is up because I’ve been a regular Firefox user for years and this isn’t a thing I’ve ever experienced or heard of anyone else experiencing.
Just in case this is of relevance here:
I know I am not the only person with this issue, and this is not a new problem.
The manjaro post does seem to be about the same problem. Although mine keeps going to 100%.
I am thinking hard were I complained to mozilla about this. I do recall asking them if they were trying to kill my hardware and or my ears.
Maybe I am gonna try opera. Mozilla does not want to fix this it seems.
Found it:
I remember seeing Paul Davis there , its a small Linux world.
I “know” him from Ardour.
That bug report is started 5 years agoo.
I used this:
Changed it from 1.0 to 0.5.
Fingers crossed, because it seems mozilla cant or wont fix it.
