Hi
Whenever I visit sites like myspace, or youtube, or pretty much anything with flash stuff on it, it is fine if i load 1 or 2 at a time, but whenever I load more than 2 tabs, it hangs for a long time and is unresponsive. I never use to have this problem that i can remember…
any suggestions or fixes?
or do i have to live with it
heh.
thanx
kaddy
oh, i should also add, that while this unresponsiveness is happening, i can still do things on my desktop as normal, its only the browser “firefox” that is unresponsive
I also noticed FF running very slowly today. Takes forever
for pages to load. Never had any problems before. I dual-boot openSUSE 10.3 and WinXP, firefox runs fine in XP, but like a snail in openSUSE… Weird?

Versions? I’m not sure this is a bug any more than Flash is a pig… it
always has been, at least in my experience. I’ve found Flash
'applications" that, when doing nothing at all, tie up an entire
processor, and they seem to be the rule more than the exception. Maybe
my boxes are poorly tuned or I’m using old versions of FF or Flash, but
I have come to loathe Flash as a result. Works fairly well for
streaming video (Youtube) but otherwise I don’t think it’s that
appropriate on MOST websites.
Just my two bits.
Good luck.
