Firefox not opening some websites

Hi guys,

I just installed OpenSUSE Leap 42.3 on Oracle VirtualBox 5.2.8.
First thing to do was to open Firefox and try google.com . I get “Secure Connection Failed” . Then I tried other websites yahoo.com (not working) , bing.com(working). Tried also some local websites ending .bg and they all work just fine.

Did anyone faced something like that? Can this be fixed?

I’m new to Linux

Thanks in advance.

I am not seeing anything like that.

It is likely that your problem is with your network service, rather than with your software.

Might be, but outside the VirtualBox , running Windows 8 I have no such issues.

When you think it has something to do with Virtualbox, why didn’t you start this in the Virtualization sub-forum?

Because I didn’t know there is such. Thanks for the hint.

You want me to move this thread there? It is not allowed to double post (because that will create confusion).

I see you already started a double post. I merged the two.
