I just installed 11.2. I had 11.0 before with /home on different partition. When I started firefox, it seems, that profile files were deleted and new profile was created (i.e. lost all my bookmakrs and saved passwords >:().
Did someone else also observed this behaviour? Is it correct behaviour?

Well if you deleted the old /home then it will be gone.
Post the result of this from a su terminal
fdisk -l
You may still have your old /home somewhere
No. The home with all my data stayed untouched.
Therefore I have separate partition for / and /home, so if I want to reinstall, I just back-up /etc and reformat / partition only.

very strange bug…
check /home/[you]/.mozilla/firefox/[random].default/bookmarks.html
and see if maybe your bookmarks are safe there…
if not, just restore that file from your most recent backup…
hmmmm…don’t know how or why there are profile files…so, i can’t
help there…
