Firefox in English when my language is Spanish

Hello mates.

I have a problem with Firefox 42.0-3.5 installed in Leap 42.1. It shows in English when my language or locale is Spanish. I have been installing the plugin Language Pack Install Helper and Spanish pack, but it’s not working. Also, I have been installing and uninstalling Firefox sometimes and I restart with add-ons disabled… Not working :frowning:

Chromium browser is in Spanish, also all applications or programs that I use in Plasma 5 are in Spanish.

I haven’t more ideas for to try, has somebody a solution?.

In the openSUSE Spanish forum Firefox en ingles, a user named SeñorPaquito has reported the solution of this page: http://blogs.ua.es/labseps/2014/03/17/configuracion-de-firefox-con-aboutconfig/

Basically, it’s to change the value of “int.locale.matchOS” in false and the value of general.useragent.locale in es-ES. Reinitialize Firefox and it’s working.

Because the value of “int.locale.matchOS” in true don’t use the language of my openSUSE Leap 42.1 in Spanish and it’s not working

I always have this fixed with the file .profile in your home folder. There you have to uncomment, or add the line if it doesn’t exist:
export LANG=es_ES.UTF-8 # uncomment this line for Spanish output

Make sure all other export lines are commented. It is also good for other gnome applications.
