Couldn’t join a webinar because “This browser is not supported” by GoTo. Using openSuSe 15.4 with the current FF (91.10esr). The release number is not within 2 versions of the latest so GoTo blocks me from joining. [Not going to Chrome.]
Is there a workaround to use GoToMeeting? I hesitate to install the latest FF from another source, but has anyone succeeded installing the latest not from openSuse?
Thanks.
You could override the default firefox user agent…
about:config
create a new entry of type string named “general.useragent.override”
set to the following value “Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:102.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/102.0”
will make it appear as if you’re using version 102
Or download the tar.bz2, unzip it and start firefox in your /home…
But for that, I would start it with a new profile.
Thank you. Problem solved.
And how???
User can install and use latest FF https://software.opensuse.org/package/MozillaFirefox together with ESR FF https://software.opensuse.org/package/firefox-esr
Firefox 102.x will replace 91.x as ESR in the nearest future: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Release_Management/Calendar
