That is about another problem. Installation of a security update of today. And it is in another thread Security Update: Updating kmozillahelper keeps failing - #2 by hcvv
Please try not to confuse things!

It is 2 in my case. Thus should be correct?
This is one from Ocular. I get the same from most applications and earlier also from FF. The other one is above in a post.
It looks very much like Dolphin (and maybe part of it’s code).
To me this sounds as a starting point. Is this configurable or should I create a bug report with this text as a basis?
Both are set to true.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Filed a bug report: 1247388 – Firefox 140.0.0esr (after update) uses wrong file picker
Not sure, but that should be correct if you installed from Flatpak. Otherwise it should be set to 1 (as is here with Gnome, and it opens the Nautilus filepicker).
Easy to test and revert if wrong.
See https://thomjiji.github.io/blogs/2023/12/use-native-file-picker-on-kde/
Or even better see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Firefox#XDG_Desktop_Portal_integration
We use KDE Plasma … here’s what the dialogs look like set differently
As file-picker == 2
Yes! That works. Setting widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal.file-picker to 1.
It is still an annoyance that this changes by simply installing a security update, but I am glad it is OK now.
Thanks all (and specially @aggie of course.
Thanks a lot. I knew this was there, but forgot what it was called.
