Firefox doesn't access internet but konqueror works OK!?

I have used SUSE since 6.0 and notice a new feature in it now. I CAN’T get Firefox to reach the Internet. Konqueror works fine. What is happening? >:) I have always used the full retail version before. Is Open SUSE 11.1 missing something that the retail pack has to solve this? I have Via chipset that obviously is set up by the system since Konqueror is how I am in here. How to get Firefox to work? It has worked perfectly with 10.0. 10.2, 10.3, etc…

Make sure ipv6 is turned off & make sure FFis set to work online,als check your firewall & network setup

Well, IPv6 fixed it. I wonder about this. It is not in full use at this time yet it is the DEFAULT setting? That is not a good choice. If I did not understand how to use YAST I could not have changed this.
