I use a windows directory fat32 setup. So, I can transfer back and forth between mswin and linux. I’v had no problems with Firefox this function until recently.
If you download a file then right-click, you select ‘open containing folder’. File manager shows “J - ‘file manager super user mode’”. The window is blank. I have to open it manually. Can someone help?
Super user? are you running FF as root? Why?
No, i’v been running this way for years. This just recently became a problem with the one firefox update.
There’s something that you’re leaving out. Firefox shouldn’t open the file manager as su. If that is the case, it may be opening the Downloads in the /root directory. Check the location bar and see if this is the case.
