today I had that problem a second time. FF, without having updated, seems to ignore CSS of some sites (e.g. Jamendo, Heise) and displays them without any structure (all elements are shown top down). Me, I did not change anything regarding the configuration.
Any suggestions? I’ve tried for hours (checked all rules and exclusions, deactivated and removed all addons) at my other computer but had to remove .mozilla in the end.
I’ve never seen that happen (I use Firefox exclusively, except for random
quick testing things) but I’m also on SLED 11 and not OpenSUSE; I am using
Firefox 3.5.1 currently. You probably did though you did not mention it,
but how about cache/cookies and other data stored about sites in the
browser? It could also be interesting to not delete ‘~/.mozilla’ but
instead just rename it and then compare the contents within to see if you
can isolate the issue.
Good luck.
