Current opensuse linux firefox has issues playing some (most all) videos. Diagnostic message is:
“media_err_src_not_supported”
Some websites say: “No compatible source found for this media.” Other sites have similar messages.
Same videos play on chrome and brave. Same videos also play on windows firefox.
After duck-duck search, one tip said to enable autoplay of video and sound. Tried this and this had no effect.
Another tip said to disable adblocker for site. Also has no effect. Same adblocker was on in chrome and video played.
Firefox does play youtube videos with no problem. But videos off of other sites are the issue. For example, bezos launch on bbc site wouldn’t play in firefox (threw error msg) but did in chrome.
Are others seeing same thing? Any ideas anyone? This issue started only in last week or so.
thanks all. not a critical issue as I can use other browsers but firefox is my goto app.
